Our technology for manufacturing of reinforced thermoplastics can be realized in the manufacture of strands and long fiber molding materials (LMM), tapes, profiles and rods of different cross sections (round, solid, annular, flat, etc.). Glass-filled PET appears to be the most likely candidate to replace metals in bearing components of various products for domestic and industrial application due to its rigidity. Glass-filled PET and products derived from it are used in electrical, electronic instrument engineering, machine building and automobile industry, and are widely used in household, construction, and sports and travel equipment. Products manufactured from our material possess enhanced strength and resistance to load impact, chemical inertness, which makes them stable and resistant to chemically aggressive media (dilute acids, gasoline, motor oils, alcohols, mineral salts and most organic compounds).

Products and materials manufactured under our technology, are characterized by positive dielectric properties, possess high thermal stability at temperatures from -40 °C to +160 °C. Low water absorption ratio favors high stability of properties and dimensions of products.

Principal competitive advantages of products, manufactured under our technology, are:

- High physical and mechanical properties, obtained owing to continuous impregnation of long-fiber unilateral reinforcing material. Under the current production technology, physical and mechanical characteristics of glass-produced recycled PET are at the level of primary large-tonnage glass-filled polymers;

- Low, when compared to its counterparts, cost of the final product, obtained owing to polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste reuse, and its utilization as an infiltrating substance;

- High production compliance and wide range of manufactured products, obtained owing to the mobile production structure and the optimal engineering and technical staff.

 

Products manufactured under this technology, are widely used in the following industries:

- In agriculture and chemical industry for manufacturing of chemically resistant to aggressive media slatted floors with enhanced strength characteristics used in the construction of livestock facilities, chemical plants, etc. ;

- in construction industry for the production of glass-fiber reinforcement, profiles, carcasses, stiffening bars for PVC-windows, etc.;

- in aerospace industry for manufacturing of structure components of aircrafts;

- in sports and tourism industry for manufacturing of equipment having enhanced strength properties: skis, ski poles, tent and hovel constructions, etc.;

- in electrical power engineering for manufacturing of dielectric structures, fiberglass rods used in composite insulators and as supporting structures for elements of signaling blocks, and fiberglass profiles used in manufacturing of transformers and electric motors;

- in commercial production, using grains of long-fiber molding material (LLM) as a raw material for subsequent manufacturing of structures and products with enhanced strength and chemical properties;

- and in many other industries and plants, using mechanisms, structures and materials, which meet high standards of chemical, dielectric and strength stability.
